Default Just got my AP2 trans. Does this look right?

Hey Guys,

I picked up this used AP2 trans today. Its got 3k miles on it but something appears to be wrong with the shift lever.

I cant get the trans to go into 5th or reverse. Im pretty sure the shift lever is bent which is preventing the trans from engaging 5th or reverse.

There is no fluid in the trans so I dont want to keep rowing it.

Here is a picture of the lever. The trans is still in my trunk.

yeah, it does not look right.

Unbolt yours and swap it, its pretty staighfwd. I believe there are three 6mm bolts holding it (10mm socket)

Are the AP1 and AP2 shifters interchangeable?

Hey Guys,

I just took the trans to my mechanic. He put fluid in it and test fit my shifter on it and all is well. All gears are present and engage smoothly.
