I have the same intake also. its not hard to install, however Im not too happy with a foam airfilter. I found a fine layer dust on the inside of the tube. and the foam filter may have been loose,or in need of a cleaning. AFE makes a good oiled cotten gauze replacement. maybe yours will work better. just check it often when driving in dusty conditions. and Enjoy

Don't over oil the filter is a good tip.

The airbox can be a pain to fit properly, and the lid will rub the hood. Line the inside of the hood with foam tape to keep the lid scratches to a minimum.

Thumbs down

Well I installed the comptech icebox tonight and everything went fairly well except for some fitment issues that have been solved. after i went out for a test drive.. everything seemed great.. sound's good throughout all rpm's... after i went out for another drive an hour or two later.. i noticed that the check engine light is on.. anyone have any input on why it might be? thanks!

This may help with fitment issues.
