just got a CEL
it says leak in the evap canister I guess!! what does it mean all i got is a fujitsubo exhaust everything else is pretty much stock!any help the car just came back from the dealership with a new motor due to hydro lock also about 3000miles ago

There is a system on the car that collects the gas vapors from the tank. There is a leak in that system.
Best case, you left your gas cap loose.
Worst case, you have a leak somewhere.
If you still have the leak you will most likely need to take it to a shop.

P1457 is not from a loose fuel cap. A P1456 can be. They are 2 seperate codes from different areas of the same system.
The 2 common causes of a P1457 are corrosion inside the 2 way valve and corrosion on the connector to the purge soleniod.
Troubleshooting evap DTC's should be left to trained Tech's with access to real scan tools, not autozone OBDII code readers. The Evap system is complicated and no easily diagnosed.

See if your gas cap is seizing on the filler neck. (tight to put on and remove) Honda had a bulletin for this. Im not sure if its related but im pretty sure my car threw that code and that was the problem.
