Just finish compression test, results....:/
Okay well just finished a compression test, car was on for maybe 10mins or so, not really sure. So the head felt slightly warm.
Anyways here's my results:
Cylinder 1 (closest to radiator if I can remember correctly) - 180
2 - 170
3 - 160
4 - 180
Running a ultimate racing turbo kit, not sure what size head gasket to be honest. I plan on changing HG and VCG soon.
Anyways, how do these results seem? I may try again with a hotter engine later tonight.
Reason I checked is because I have a fairly loud ticking noise from my engine bay, questioning bent valve or just exhaust leak/injectors.

all within about 10% of each other nothing to worry about especially with a thicker gasket
one thing 90% of people forget to do is put your foot to WOT when cranking did you forget?

Better test would be leak down to tell 100% for sure but with the current numbers it looks ok
As far as retainers pop the VC and have a look is better then a compression test
If you're boosting 50 bucks and a few hours is cheap insurance.
