all right did a leak down and new comp test today and here it is.

i have aprox 18-20% on all cylinders all from the exhaust vavles. gonna try top cleaner this weekend and see how that goes. but more then likly i will just freshen the head when i do the work on the block.

also did the bit of oil in chamber think and the 4th cylinder's compression shot up to norm compression so the rings are getting bad on number 4. my engine sucks lol.

so i would atleast need rings and while the engine is apart i will freshen up the head and port n polish with a 3 angle valve.

i just need to decide on wat to do with the block.. from what i read i couldnt just take the block to a machine shop and then throw some low comp pistons in. is that correct?? why is that tho. and what are my options?? like i said before im really trying to not build a crazy engine built for 30 psi or anything like that. 14-15 psi is prob max this engine will see but if its just a bit more i would mind a better block built for more boost if its not much more.

ohh and yes i have 4 extra cars to drive around so im not worried about down time.

So if your numbers are off, what's the best possible solution to get it back to the original spec?

yeah i will test it out first and see if it helps any just for the hell of it. because i will need to take the head off no matter what direction i go anyways so why the hell not. i just need to learn more about sleeving this engine and if its 100% just need to or could i just machine my block for low comp pistons.

i will be using seafoam prob next week some time and see what happens
and how it will affect the numbers.
