j's racing lip and valve cover.....
i have two questions...is it required that you cut the fake airducts on the oem bumper in order for the j's lip to fit?
does anyone have the cylinder valve cover from j's racing? i went to the j;s site and it didnt seem like they were for sale but i found this site and they say it is for 299....

Yes you have to cut the vents for the front half bumper install. The cover is part of the complete engine assembly I believe. Either way it's a waste to spend $299 on it. Just go get it powdercoated if you like the way it looks. It would cost half that at most.

the cover looks to be a different material than the stock cover....almost looks aluminum.... the reason i want it is so getting oil on the cover wouldnt be an issue since it would be easily cleanible....

The OEM Valve cover is aluminum and powder coated with a crinkle finish. If you were to have it powder coat in the color of you choice. Then the finish would be smooth and easy to clean.
Here is one powder coated black.
Or you could get a polished cover
