Impressions: The car feels off balance because of the weight reduction or I'm off balance today. It really does weigh a few pounds. The canister was slightly heavier than the entire piping and resonator.

The sound quality or pitch is about the same as the RM Racing exhaust I took off(deep throaty). It is quieter at lower RPM's and at idle it sounds stock. As you roll the RPM's on, the sound increases, but not unbearable, not like a ricer 'folgers coffee can' sound. I just put it on tonight and so far I like it. BTW this is with the insert in. I will see what street driving will be like tomorrow during the day. I will be at an auto-x over the weekend and I will take the silencer out just to raise hell at the event.

It is a nice solid performance sound.

more pics to come!

*EDIT* taking out the old exhaust uninstallation tip: lube the rubber gromets up with WD-40 to take the existing exhaust out, it makes it so much easier on the arms, back, forearms, shoulders and what ever else you can use to pull these dam hangers out of the rubber retainer things that hold the exhaust up. I will be hurting in the morning.

I'll get some more over the weekend. It looks awesome and sounds awesome. I am really happy that I spent the $ on it. The car feels different with out having 40-50lbs hanging under it.

I took my girlfriend on a ride and she said it sounded quiter than "the other exhaust", she liked it!

I "had" the JIC coil overs dialed in. Back to work on those again.

While i was reading your post all i could think of was "Is he hard of hearing?" I then read the last line about the silencer still being installed

It is damn loud. Really really loud. With the silencer out that is.

I have yet to hear the full Ti in person though, I wonder how it differs from my set up, stainless piping and Ti canister. The Ti piping is thinner which makes me wonder which is louder if at all. Beautiful piece regardless. Just wait a fwe hundred miles till its broken, the sound gets better and better.

This exhaust opens up on the freeway, wow. I haven't taken the silencer out yet.

Vtec is a smooth hard pull now.

I can tell there is a mid range power increase, no dyno yet.
