that is cool, I have another 2 cars to drive if I am going to the city or bad area. so, the bad streets ain't my concern. Which one you think is more worth the money? JIC Magic or Buddy Club? I want something stiff, but not very bouncy..!!

I may have inadvertently mislead a few on how stiff these are when cold. I found today when I drove in slightly warmer temps that they still felt a bit stiff so I investigated.. found that some clown at the dealership had played with the adjustments last time the car was in (that coincided with a temp change). They had cranked both fronts stiffer from where I keep them (one about half full and the other 3/4).
Adjusted back to a regular street setting they are firm without being harsh.

If i may add to what cdelena has said. After a few bizarre nights here in So Cali where temps reached high 30s i began to notice a stiffer ride as well. Sometimes in the early morning i am experiencing this as well but as soon as the car warms up, so does the suspension. It all seems to settle within a couple of miles.
My car does not bounce at all. I am lowered approx. 1.5 inches in the front and about 1.2 in the rear on 16 inch wheels and absolutely luv the ride. Granted the 16s are softer than 17s or 18s, but i run mine at 36 psi cold all the time. The reason for the smooth ride is the larger shaft that of he JIC's. That really makes all the difference.
Buddy Club i believe uses the same design. I am not sure though that they offer different spring rates. The ones that come on the AP1 application are far too high for our streets.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I just ordered a set of JIC coilovers from docofmind and thougth I'd chime in on the temperature thing. I haven't installed my JICs yet, so I can't speak to how much they change with temperature, but I've noticed the stock shocks show HUGE change in dampening characteristics between cold weather and hot. Until recently, I lived in Riverside CA - where it's over 100 degrees throughout the summer and the winter nights dip into the 30s. In the cold, I find the stock shocks are nice and firm, but on hot days they soften up like jello. I think just about any shock will change with the weather.
