I bought mine about a month ago and they came with 10k all around. You can feel the road a lot more but not bad for me. I like it.
Just thought I would share.

I actually have been pretty pleased with the 7/8k setup after finally getting them setup. Great street setup and maybe a bit short of damping for the track. Still very temperature sensitive so this winter may require some tinkering.

12/12 has been good to me although I do get a little low-speed understeer. I actually think that might be a factor of chassis flex and differential though. I don't have an X-brace or anything and the car always seems very willing to lift wheels on uneven roads. Also, when the diff is cold, it has a lot of initial torque and sometimes doesn't like to let the car make u-turns, etc.

I've been running Kendal diff fluid (the one with friction modifiers added) for a while now and am very satisfied ........ it's very reasonably priced ..... maybe you could give it a try next time around and tell me what you think .......

Anybody buy the NEW JIC Coilovers with the increased spring rate?

Should I go with JIC or BuddyClub?

Wow, I never realized how complicated coilovers could be. So has anyone come to a reasonable conclusion about these coilovers? Do they or do they not need pre-load during install? Would buddy clubs save me some trouble?

Thanks!

They definitely need to be preloaded or you will have problems!! My fronts were preloaded 1" and rears were 0.75"

It took me 3-4 tries before I got it right!

Front ended up being lowered 1/2"

Rear ended up 1" lower to counter over steer.

Just my 2 cents.
