.... makes you wonder what range of spring rates the valving is optimized for ..... I know they're adjustable but still

RT, That's what I'm sitting here thinking. So what if JIC decides to send you guys some new-fangled-optimized spring rate! Sounds like the rates are going to have to be so much higher that you'll need the dampers revalved as well.

It also bugs/scares the crap out of me that Kevin thinks it's OK to be running around on the bumpstops. If that's the case why have springs at all? Just make 9kg/mm bumpstops and run on those, great idea...

Really glad I went with Tein...

Clovis, do your Tein have piggy-back N2 reservoirs on the rears? Which model do you have?

Kevin's comment about voiding the warranty by preloading more than .25" (causing the damper to top out) got me thinking.

Question: How in the hell is it even possible to top out the damper? I know that when the S2000 suspension is fully unloaded (limited by A-arm travel) and I disconnect the Teins there is still another .5" or so of travel left in damper. Are the JIC dampers really that short on stroke?

This is exactly why I said it EFFECTIVELY changes the spring rate. I am not saying it actually changes the rate of the spring.

Wow, Kevin is outright lying to you guys! On the 5-15-03 he says this:

I feel that we are shipping these with springs that are way too soft.
Then, the very next day, 5-16-03:

In one day!?
