I wouldnt do it. When I ran a turbo on my Subaru RS, I had the whole exhaust manifold, turbo, downpipe untilt the cat jet-hot coated. The stuff barely lasted a winter in PA before multiple rust spots were seen. I didnt bother sending it back for the guarantee work because it took them about a month to send it back the first time around. It really was a pain in the butt to deal with.

Just my crappy experience. I'm sure if your cars never see snow or lots of gravel the outcome may be very different.

I was going to get a spoon or mugen header and do it to that and the piping up to the cat.

I heard it dropped under hood temperatures and also kept exhaust velocity up, helping with scavenging.

Not true?

RWD_RCKT,

Did you coat inside and out, or just outside?

My header is coated inside and out. The only way to do it.

I was going to have my Mugen done. Now I am having second thoughts with all the scepticism.

Extreme Sterling would be the one I would get if you want to pay a bit extra. Jet Hot 2000 would not do as well on NA.
