Its normal. This car seems to be more sensitive to throttle input than other manual cars I've driven.

If what you're describing is what I'm thinking, it's completely normal. Both of my s2k's did/do it. I'm pretty sure it has to do something with how the throttle cable (body, really) and tps sensor work off the ecu. I'm pretty sure there is a "minimum open %" that when it sees any deveation off zero (which is not actually zero.. but i mean at the bottom of the range) that it open the valve a minimum amount which is not always the smoothest transition in these cars. I don't think it's harmful at all though.

I'm not a mechanic, so take whatever I say with a grain of salt. I may be totally wrong.

This...sounds like completely normal manual transmission behavior.
