Default JDM motor in USDM S2000

So my engine is shot and im in the market for a used one. I found a JDM motor swap for $3800 but i dont need the tranny. Does my usdm tranny hook up to this JDM motor without problems?

yes, the motors are all the same. But you might want to Pm Davgoat first.

Yes. You shouldn't have any problems. How come you don't want to use the tranny that it comes with?

3800 for motor only? I think thats too much, considering there are people on the boards selling 2.2L for 2k-3k.

The motor is plug and play with the usdm harness and ECU man

I'd probably buy the whole set up if I were in your shoes. Always nice to have extra parts
