is this the jdm honda oil filter?

also do i need to order the oil filter wrench?

sorry guys, i should've searched a little more.
so there is no way to remove the oil filter without this wrench? that really sucks.

Not if it's on properly. Unless you're some superhuman clamp handed beast.
I had one on tight once and no tool so I drilled a hole in the side and used a screwdriver to loosen it. Bit messy.
I now use the K&N HP-1004 which has a 1 inch nut on the end and a hole for safety wire.

Yeah technically they use it on all stock S2000s, including Japanese ones. But if you really are going JDM with the car (i.e. car show class), I would pick up a HAMP filter.

I can tighten 75% of the PCX-004 filters all the way without a wrench, but I can never get them off without one. as mentioned, just pick up one from the auto parts store for a few bucks.
