JDM Headlight Problems

JDM Headlight Problems
For all the people who have installed the JDM housing headlights, and anyone looking into purchasing a set, I have Honda part numbers that will work with the different side lamps. I was pretty disappointed when I spent almost a grand to find out that the new headlights wouldn't fit properly with the US spec sidelamps. A quick call to my good friend who works at a local Honda dealership as a service writer (previously a tech), and a proud S2000 owner and club member helped me remedy my problem. He too installed a set of JDM lamps and found that a third brake light socket, bulb and wiring pigtail works perfectly fine. Here are the part numbers:
Qty 2 269612 Pigtail $7.95 each
Qty 2 454913 34906-ST5-003 Bulb $2.38 each
Qty 2 434904 33304-SL4-003 Socket $4.98 each
I really didn't want to cut open, silicone, or rig my brand new headlamps as I'm sure neither would any of you. I hope this information helps you out.

I checked this yesterday.
I think the socket that will fit on the JDM light housing is the socket for rear turn signal light.
It uses the same orange bayonet type bulb as the JDM cars.
But it won't be a direct plugin, because the pigtail for the front and rear turn signals are different. So yes there will be some splicing involved.
I'm sure that this is pretty generic part, so I'm gonna try to find it in Pepboys or from another Honda in a salvage yard.
Word of warning though, the socket for the rear turn signals do not have rubber washers like the sockets for the front turn signals do. I'd reuse the rubber washers if I could get them to fit.
