Default JDM AP1 IACV Hose - Where does it go?

Does anyone know why my IACV has this extra hose at the front and where it should go? Mine currently doesn't connect to anything and I feel like it might be causing my rough/low idle. All of the part diagrams and pictures I've seen don't have this 3rd hose on, just the 2 at the top. Car is a 1999 JDM AP1 if that helps.

I posted on one of the facebook groups too and somebody has identified it as being the IACV from an Accord 2.3 F23 engine. Don't know why this has been used instead of the standard part. On the Accord the other end of that pipe would connect to a nipple on the underside of the throttle body, ill have a look if I have this connection on my lunch break

Right, the short answer is I have no idea! Edit - Ah, just saw your post, now makes sense.

I have a '99 JDM AP1 (Early build), and my setup looks like this;

Not sure why mine has been swapped to the F23 IACV but it also looks like my hoses are crossed over. Unless i can figure out a good reason not to, I'll probably get it changed back over to the correct part sometime

I've never seen anyone switching to another setup, so I am at a loss to any benefits it would bring.

If you are experiencing issues with idle, I would simply go back to the stock setup.
