Default jack points

where do most people jack up your s2k? the manual pictures seem somewhat vague to me. I have a heavy duty floor jack. Jacking up the rear is easy, its the front that presents a problem. Also, my jack stands leave indentations along the underside, nothing terrible but you can definetly tell the car has been up on stands. Any tips?

the picture is very vague and doesnt seem to really represent the structure of the car

Yes, your jack will cause indents in the side rails but these can be minimized or eliminated if you glue a thick rubber pad or hall runner material to the jack cup.
