Default its damn cold outside

its getting (relatively) cold here in CA (like 35degrees). I warm up my S for a few mins before i start to drive and i have a few questions:
when will all the fluids be warmed up? coolant? engine oil? transmission? diff?
and when the coolant gauge is up to temp what does that mean for the rest of the car? im assuming that the engine oil takes longer to get to temperature than the coolant?

thanks!

At that temp it will take the diff and transmission at least 20 miles of moderate stop and go driving to get to temp and 10 miles highway driving.
Caution: your tires will take as long to get to a safe temp!!!

Note: Once the car is parked and let to stand for more than an hour the running gear will cool very quickly so, it will take another 10 miles of driving to get the drive train and tires back up to temp.

Cold tires can cause an accident very easy!! good luck

It's not the space shuttle. It's made to be driven by an average person. A slight drop in temperature isn't going to hurt it. If you lived in an area with subzero temps, then you might need to ask questions.
