Don't be alarmed, dave. There is a reason for it. There are many posts by Jason all over the board where he hypes certain items and downs others (including the S2000). All of his opinions and illusion of expertise are based on his claim to be an owner of an S2000 (and many other vehicles along with his porn business). This would be the helpful side of my cynicism/sarcasm, unless you prefer to take advice on a product for a vehicle from someone that isn't even a registered owner. I have even offered to meet Jason in person (he's not too far from me) so that I can check out his Supra and his S2000, he declined.

I'm within walking distance from the border, come on up. I never said no to a meeting.

I'll get the S2000 back in a couple weeks when he beetle is ( finally ) back up and running.

Now, I'm not saying that he's not an owner and I'm not saying that he does not know anything. He could know it all and could in-fact be an owner.

True, one day I will register my car. I'm lazy.

But, if you read through some of his posts you will have a better understanding of where I'm coming from.

I see it as no different as someone who posts something for sale and the last 8 people he screwed post their experience so that everyone is able to take caution. This is no different. Take caution with Jasons advice on this clutch. After all, he can't even tell how well the Exedy is working, his ex-girlfriend has his S2000.

Well, from my driving it, I would NOT recommend it at all. Why don't you wait until.... say... a nice day in 2-3 weeks and I'll even letcha take it for a romp. The clutch is the sadist's choice.

I do appreciate your concerns and comments and I will review my posts and edit where I feel it is appropriate.

Instructions I received from my the garage I work with for breaking in the clutch was:
- Clutch engagement at low RPM
- No slipping of clutch
- Frequent shifts through all gears (500 freeway miles doesn't count)

No FI on my car, so the issue with this clutch is not limted to FI cars. I believe the issue is quality control and ... obviously product support.
