Would you like a picture of me standing beside my Surpa, sweetie?

I can take a pic with the Corvette in the driveway, too. The S2000 is still with the ex girlfriend.

I went through proper break-in of the clutch. I spent a full 500 miles going very easy on the clutch following the instructions for break-in exactly.

It's frustrating to see the mfg in Japan and the master distributor once again being quick to make pre-sales claims with respect to the clutch. Didn't seem to take them long to find this post.

Interestingly, it's extremely difficult to get them to respond or stand behind the product once it's been sold. IMO, the numbers speak for themselves:
- Stock clutch 38k miles
- Exedy clutch less than 2k miles

If you're considering this clutch, feel free to send me a PM and I'll gladly speak with you about my experience.

3ngin33r1, Your cynicism/sarcasm wrt Jason is unhelpful and quite alarming considering your status as moderator of this highly regarded forum. And, Jason if your going to take his bait i suggest you don't do it here.

The threads regarding warranty issues and how they are covered is one of the most valuable resources this site offers. How these issues are handled can often be the prime motivating factor in a persons decision to choose one product over another. This is especially true when big ticket items like clutches and Superchargers are involved, where the cost of the parts is only one part of the expense.

MSM, I hope things work out for you. But, more importantly for the rest of us i thank you for posting your experiences here so that all of us can make a more informed buying decision when the time comes.

fatinc, An S2000 is not equal to a Corvette as i'm sure the clutch for an S2000 is not equal to a clutch for a Corvette. And, i'm sure the same applies for a Sylvia 240sx.

CaptinMorgan97, I suspect the issues regarding this clutch only appear when used in an FI application, as you allude to.

Don't be alarmed, dave. There is a reason for it. There are many posts by Jason all over the board where he hypes certain items and downs others (including the S2000). All of his opinions and illusion of expertise are based on his claim to be an owner of an S2000 (and many other vehicles along with his porn business). This would be the helpful side of my cynicism/sarcasm, unless you prefer to take advice on a product for a vehicle from someone that isn't even a registered owner. I have even offered to meet Jason in person (he's not too far from me) so that I can check out his Supra and his S2000, he declined.

Now, I'm not saying that he's not an owner and I'm not saying that he does not know anything. He could know it all and could in-fact be an owner. But, if you read through some of his posts you will have a better understanding of where I'm coming from. I see it as no different as someone who posts something for sale and the last 8 people he screwed post their experience so that everyone is able to take caution. This is no different. Take caution with Jasons advice on this clutch. After all, he can't even tell how well the Exedy is working, his ex-girlfriend has his S2000.

I do appreciate your concerns and comments and I will review my posts and edit where I feel it is appropriate.

A little bit off topic but Jason does own a S2k and he bought a Vortech kit from my GB a few months ago. we also discussed a little bit about the exedy during that time too.
I don't think there is any problem with running a porn website. We all have to make a living. Give him a break guys.
