Default issue after hondata img install...

so i installed my hondata img (god what a bitch).

anyways, i put everything back on and fired up the car...started fine. then after about a minute (when that noise usually comes on...i think its the secondary air pump) i start getting an idle surge. fluctuates about 3-500 rpm so 2000~2500 rpm. any idea what could be causing this?

im not getting a CEL at all...i put loctite on the intake manifold bolts and double checked the torque. checked all my vacuum lines and coolant lines. however, i only topped off my coolant vs bleeding the system...so i probably have air in the system. would that cause a surging idle?

thanks guys

did you mess with any of the fuel rail or fuel system?

did you mess with the idle air control valve?

spray brake cleaner or carb cleaner at the base of the gasket and if your car is reacting to it, you might have a leak

i did this mod to see if i could do it and that was the time i wish i had a JDM s2000 because all the computer crap was on the wrong side! I had a huge fuel leak at both the fuel pressure regulator and fuel line damper :/

See if you have any loose or cracked rubber hoses on the manifold.

wd40 no, carb cleaner, brake cleaner YES. It has to be flamable.

WD40 is seriously flamable. Its the standard potato gun propellant.
