Not dry up. It's a 'learning' ECU (Engine Control Unit, the brain). Do a search on ECU reset, or learn.

hey guys.. so new problem occured. any input would be awesome thanks in advance!

so after resetting the ECU. i went on a trip to LA fitness. everything went smooth (still problem with 1st gear taking off but i got used to it) drove back no problem no CEL.

I just went on the highway to drop off my friend's present. everything was the same. went up up 80 MPH no problem. ( about 5 miles on the highway and 3 miles local)

On the way back, right before i hit the Higheway. CEL came out. i had the thing plugged into my car already so the code reads 1129 again (manufacturing control air fuel metering)

I kinda ignored it since i was on the highway already....

now i'm on the highway. 1st gear only goes up to 10 MPH, 2nd gear 30 mph, 3rd gear 35mph, 4th 40, 5th 50 and 6th gear only goes up to 55 mph....

if i try to go any faster than those numbers. the car would choke a bit..... seem like the ecu is telling me not to gas it anymore. if it does not choke it would not move any faster even tho i am gasing....

any1 had this problem and can help it would be awesome! please let me know. i'll be refreshing this page very often. thanks again!!

properly reset the ecu not just pulling out the battery. you need to pull out a fuse under the steering wheel. when start the car you hold it at 3k rpms untill it is warmed up and then your good to go. the rpm's will drop to near 0 and the car is relearning EVERYTHING.
