Default Interpret dealership maintenance record for me?

I bought a used S2000 and the PO told me the name of a dealership that had maintained the car for the prior owner.

I called the dealer in question and they were kind enough to send me a record of all the services they had done on the car.

Everything on the list is pretty straight forward, except for the following entry:

1 744430 12/07/2009 59065 A 161 |
| T 29 1 C 25HOZRPHDB CLYINDER HEAD |

Any idea what this could mean? I'm thinking it was probably a valve adjustment... but really I have no idea. Any input is appreciated!

you should really call the shop and ask them to explain, it all depends on the way they coded the work on the invoice. It could have been a head replacement for all you know. I think a valve adjustment would have been written down in different terminology but you don't really know. What year S2k and how many miles on it ?

It is a 2003. It had about 55k when the service was performed. I would also expect a valve adjustment to be described in different terms. But I don't know what else to guess. I suppose it could be anything. Just curious if the code listed next to the service had some Honda dealership interpretation or something.

I will call the dealer if I don't get any more insight. Thanks for the replies.

25H0Z is a labor op code in the dealer computer system that repair orders are written in. You need to call the dealer to find out what was actually done, the op code doesn't have to be accurate or have anything to do with the repair that was done.
