Intermittent dead battery - no parasitic draw

Bingo - that's what is throwing me off, as well. The battery is not dying, exactly, but the voltage is dropping to a level that cannot drive the starter (fast enough). ~14 volts from a running car during a jump start fires it right up.

There is definitely no ignition switch bypass or I'd hear the pump w/o the car running. The battery would almost certainly die overnight, as well.
