Default Intakes with venture plate

For al the experts out there in s2ki land what benefits if any would there be if one was to place a conical filter with a venture plate as close as possible to the throttle body. Outlet side of the venture would not be less than the internal diameter of the inlet side of the TB. The conical filter is enclosed and receives cool air from the front lip via a 4 inch ID pipe

You would probably gain some on top end but lose a little mid range, the longer the intake pipes are the more momentum the air builds up as it rushes into the cylinders when the piston is closing on bottom dead centre it is moving relatively slow and not actually sucking in any more air, if the incoming air has gained momentum it will still pile into the cylinder before the valve closes thus giving more air/petrol mix. The down side is at higher revs the laminar friction on the side walls reduces the amount of air the pipe flows
long narrow intakes for torque
big short pipes for max power
you have to make the trade for what you want
If you still want to do it try to get the Air Horn to fit into a box of some kind so the edges of the widest part are free from obstruction this will minimise air turbulence
My suggestion would be to fit a mandril bent bend between throttle body and standard air box with an air horn fitted inside the box, you would have to fit a cold air supply to the box as well.

This idea actually removes the stock air box in favor of a reduced distance between the Air filter/venture and the throttle body (straight shot). The inlet to the new filter enclosure would be 4 inch mandrel carbon fiber piping running directly to the front bumper. Radiator will be replaced with a smaller but thicker radiator to free up the driver side of the front lip.

Excuse the question but what is 'mandrel carbon fiber'? My understanding is that a mandrel is a device that bends metal pipe from the inside by stretching it and carbon fibre is a composite material formed in a mould. I don't see the correlation.

Yes CF is usually a molding process or hand laid. I was using the term "mandrel" to relay that the tube will retain a constant internal diameter in the turn/bend..
