Neither have I. I looked through the manual recently with no luck either. Hopefully the thread starter or someone else will chime in.
I'll try using my obd-2.com scanner again, but I'm pretty certain I wasn't able to monitor IAT with it despite being able to on my previous BMWs.

Ok so it makes a bit more sese that the sensor placement is messing with my intake temps. This was my initial thought because it just isnt possible to pull colder air form outside the car and the intake temps be the same as before.
BTW......you guys should save up $150.00 and buy a ScangaugeII to monitor this data. it's cheap and works great. I have mine mounted with the Modifry mount so it looks nice and clean.

Do you have any pics of it? Did you use the 3" or 4" mount? Thanks

I'm using the scangaugeII on my SC'd S2k and have been monitoring my IAT closely. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to matter what the ambient air temp is when I am just cruising as a normal rate. My IAT is constantly between 88-105 degrees F. I know that's a wide range, but, when the temps are below 50 I will cruise at 95 or below. But if the ambient temp is above that I am pretty consistent at cruising at 100+ IAT.
I have even tried multiple setups with my cooling plate. I have tried removing the stock radiator shroud and using just the cooling plate. I put the stock shroud back in and used it with the cooling plate. I get no lower temps with either or setup.
My next venture is to add water wetter to both my Comptech aftercooler and the stock radiator. I hope to see at least a few degrees cooler with that.

found the best way to lower intake temps.
drive in cold weather. in ft lauderdale, i was hitting 109 crusing on i95 heading towards north carolina. when i got into north carolina, intake temps cruising were 84! car felt so peppy. im gionna enjoy this while i can. then back to ft lauderdale and 109 intake temps

hahaha, I know what you mean. This mornings commute I was seeing 66* By this afternoon even with the CAI I know its going to be around 85-95* depending on weather.
Trend here in Cali with a CAI, your intake temps will always show 5-10* higher than ambient or what the cars (AP2) outside sensor reads.
SuzukaBlueAP2-Dont worry, I have one in my S/C'd V6 Camry. My IAT's are constantly 90-100*+ Even when weather is a nice 80* outside. Mine is a roots type but I'm guessing just being boosted shoots the temps sky high. It did help however when I installed a 160* thermostat as oppose to the stock 181*. IMO water wetter did close to nothing for heat. It may help you though on your aftercooler.

How do I monitor intake temps on an Apexi Neo? I've never seen an option for intake temp monitoring?
