None. The ECU outputs intake temp from the sensor on the intake manifold. You just need a logger to take the data off the OBD port.

When driving you don't need to divert attention studying guages.

Any thoughts on why I have not been able to obtain an IAT reading using my http://www.obd-2.com/ scan tool? I'm pretty certain that I haven't been able to? I recall trying to monitor IAT during a tuning session, but only recall the ability to monitor ECT.

Next time I have mine out I will look to see if I get it on that software... I don't recall seeing it but only used it during trouble shooting or dyno runs.

I do logging with an old CarChipEX that has been reliable gathering data for over five years. I collect speed, rpm, IAT, ECT, and TP every five seconds. Seldom look at it anymore but still dump the files to my computer every few months.

Just a quick glance at IAT on my last trip over 50 miles tells little because there was little load... temp varied from 80 to 100 driving mostly highway speeds with ambient temp about 55.

I live in central Florida on the west cost and heat soak is a big issue here. With my OEM intake I seen intake temps as high as 160 plus

I made an intake for the car, the intake is airtight and only gets it

Anyone with contribution on what temps a J's racing style intake vs a fujita/aem style CAI would give you?

How do I monitor intake temps on an Apexi Neo? I've never seen an option for intake temp monitoring?
