Intake Plenum surface appearance, Looks like poor casting?

Has anyone else looked at the top of their bare aluminum intake manifold and thought it looked like the casting has swirled impurities? It's probably just the way the flow of the liquid alloy comes together as it solidifies.

I just want to know if anyone else noticed this.

I've looked through some galleries and installation instructions and found the same thing, but to different degrees.

Guess I'll have to find something else to worry about
