Default Intake manifold gasket misfire?

I been haveing a rough idle with cel took it to the mechanic misfire cyl 2,4 and a random misfire.got valve adjusted changed spark plugs and checked all coils and for a while it was running ok but now when the car is warmed up it starts to idle rough. First I though it was bad vales so I took it to the mechanic who adjusted my valves ect. After a while of searching he noticed a hiss coming from the intake manifold gasket are and it was pretty noticeable he sprayed some stuff towards the intake gasket area and it nearly stalled he said the gasket is done and that's why I been having random misfires. I made an apt. Because I don't have the time now to do it. Have you guys herd of this looked around didn't really see nothing cars to date has 106k 04 ap2
