Instrument cluster flickers

Default Instrument cluster flickers

Does anyone know what could be the reasone for this?

poor connections? check battery maybe to ensure its running 13-14 when turned on b4 ripping stuff out... unless there a simple factory fault or something...

Battery is new + battery connections are good and there are no codes

This has been reported when the alternator is going out.

ohhh i have that same problem on MY06 is it covered under warranty? i have 24k

Gauge lights can flicker with normal changes in electrical load. Cooing fans and AC come on = lights dim. Fans and AC go off = lights get brighter.

Does it flicker all the time or does it only flicker once in a while? It doesnt bother me but mine flickers all the time 04 with 50k with orginal battery.

Usually flickering cluster is caused by the alternator on its way out. Or maybe you can try changing the battery since its pretty old

This is a third battery, 04 AP2. Has been flickering since 30k miles. It has 75k on it now.

No battery replacement cured the issue. Battery and Charging systems were tested with volt memter to verify sufficient voltage and everything was just fine.

Replaced battery month ago and they are still flickering at idle only
