instrument cluster flashing

Default instrument cluster flashing

My instrument cluster is flashing has anyone had this problem an if so what is the solution

Check to see that all of the ground wires are firmly connected and the bolt is tight.

This is typically a sign of an alternator on its way out.

I had a battery replaced on my old Toyota and this situation occured a few days later when I had to recharge the battery because it was dead. Never knew what the cause was but now it seems fine.

I have checked the grounding and also replaced the battery but it still flashes

Mine does the same thing when it idles. I got the same alternator response but this thing has been doing it for over a year.

this happened in my subaru and it ended up being the alternator
