I got the 04 horns for my 01 from hardtopguy and Billman is right on with the install. As of the fuse, I asked hardtop guy and he said that it didn't need to be changed, so I just tapped in and it works great!

I asked Hardtopguy for some help and he told me that he did not know of any information on the install that he could share. This was about two weeks ago.
As far as splicing the cables together, any suggestions?

00-01 has one horn.
02-03 has two horns.
04-06 has two horns which sound different and are a little louder. you can plug and play the 04 horns in the 02-03.
For an 01 car, you would need to splice in a wire to the one horn wire to add a second horn.
I personally have one of each and like it alot

Agreed. Here is a useful link describing the MY04 horn install on a MY00 or MY01
The dual OEM horns sound much better than the anemic 00 single. I have been backed into too many times, because that little beeper wasn't audible up front!

Thanks for the link, rehile! I did the install yesterday, and your pics helped a lot. The problem that I had on the 00, though, was that the black plastic cowl over the area in front of the radiator in very difficult to remove without taking off the front bumper..
