Subscribed. Highly interested in this mod. ap1 horn has an embarassing tone that should belong on a weaker car. Like an RSX-S. Just love givin it to those punks!!!

00-01 has one horn.

02-03 has two horns.

04-06 has two horns which sound different and are a little louder. you can plug and play the 04 horns in the 02-03.

For an 01 car, you would need to splice in a wire to the one horn wire to add a second horn.

I personally have one of each and like it alot

Thanks for the post Billman... Any idea about the fuse situation?

I assume the safest way to do this with an in-line relay... but have no idea how it is done...

umm..
Could I add more 04 horns to my 04?
I would like it louder than now..
Is it going to be a simple adding wires without relays?

I got the 04 horns for my 01 from hardtopguy and Billman is right on with the install. As of the fuse, I asked hardtop guy and he said that it didn't need to be changed, so I just tapped in and it works great!

I myself found my MY00 horn annoying when alarming and disalarming the factory security system. Has anyone with a MY00-01 replaced their horn with a MY02+ to get a "softer" beep when alarming/disalarming the security system? Was it just a matter of splicing the wires as previously mentioned, or is there more to it than that?
