Thanks guys for all of your suggestions. Your suggestions are pretty much dead on as far as figuring whether or not this is a clutch issue. I contacted a transmission shop today and they suggested pretty much everything that you all have. Thank you!!!
I am definitely going to check for any air leaks as this is a possibility. I am going to first press the clutch pedal as quickly as I can about 10 times or so prior to shifting to see if I can enter second gear properly. If I am able to do so, it is a clear indication that there is air in my lines. If I am unsuccessful, I will check the fluids, slave, as well as check behind the pedal to see if I can find any leaks. I will then flush the fluid in the event I do not find any leaks. If I do find any leaks, I will replace what is necessary. If that does not resolve my issues, I will then check the installation as suggested and make sure that the shaft is oiled, etc. Lastly, if this does not work, I am going to take my car to a transmission shop so that they can diagnose the issues.

This needs grease.
But I would check the master & slave & fluid level first.
Much easier.

just jack the car up and gravity bleed the heck outa the slave cylnder. then adjust the shaft to make sure its right. stop driving the car wiht it grinding. you are doing damage. if it didnt grind before the clutch, something was done wrong, or something needs to be adjusted, bleed.

I can drive it without making it grind, I just can't shift normally. I am going to take care of it either this weekend or on Tuesday. I will keep you posted.
