Default Installed new clutch, now grinding 1st and 2nd...?

As the title states, I just installed a new clutch into the car and now when I engage into first gear, there is a grinding noise. This grinding noise happens when shifting into first and second gears only. If I move the shifter very slowly into gear, the car doesn't grind as frequently.

I really don't understand why this is happening... any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Sounds like clutch is not fully disengaging? Did you adjust the pedal to make sure the PP is completely releasing itself?

Is there anything else that comes to mind or do these suggestions pretty much sum it up?

Hello, i have a 2002, we put a act clutch in at 10,000 miles when it was about 2 yrs old, the oem clutch released high, all the time from being new, the act clutch would not release, we took out trans again and installed the oem clutch kit and it worked fine, seems like there was a clearance issue on mine, and seems like you have the same problem, did you install a oem clutch ?

Well, I took the car out again and I can't even downshift into second gear. It seems as if I need to pump the clutch pedal in order for it to engage. Does this provide any additional information?

Did you bleed the system? Sounds like air.

Yes, but it may not have been done properly... I really hope that it's really as simple as bleeding the system... I will keep everyone posted.
