Default Installed: K&N FIPK Gen2

Install took about an hour and a half, and I was taking my sweet time. The worst part was taking all the old hoses off the car, as most of them needed some coaxing to come off.

Initial impression: At startup you can sort've hear it sucking air, but not really noticeable. Actually, all the way up to VTEC it sounds almost stock as long as you're not WOT. Was kind've disappointed on the test drive, then I hit WOT. Holy shit that's insane. WOT sounds nice. WOT in VTEC sounds even better. If anything it's almost too fast a sound for the car. I.e. It sounds like a crazy ass 500hp race car, but still goes like it's got 250hp. Midrange is definitely where a lot of the improvement is, but I think there's a bit more in the topend too.

All in all, nice mod, and it really cleans up the engine bay / makes the front of the engine easier to inspect / get to.

Should I reset my ECU?

Thanks!

Not really necessary. It'll adapt to the new parameters in a few driving cycles anyway.

I like mine and have the same impressions. You'll probably notice a bit worse gas mileage at first. I did and soon discovered it was because I like getting into the throttle more just to hear the intake growl.
