Installed intake and now 'Check Fuel Cap'
Hello all,
I just installed my K&N FIPK, and after a day, I got a message on my dash that says, "Check Fuel Cap". Any idea on what I did wrong? All hoses seem to be secure.
Thanks for reading!

Twist fuel cap until it clicks several times. I've installed the cap and thought it was in but given a couple extra clicks for good measure, and it became easy to twist and tightened even further before clicking again.
If it's a Check Engine Light, it's likely you've just messed up the vacuum line connections on the intake.

Maybe since he has an 07 it has a that light? Idk, but I agree with the rest. First, check the fuel cap, make sure its on snug. If it is a different CEL code, then you probably switched the vacuum lines up on the intake.

So you got a CEL and the code corresponds with the fuel cap (didn't know we actually got messages on dash otherwise)? If it's an EVAP code, just make sure to close the gas cap tight enough (couple of clicks).
