I don't recall if I removed any ball joints for the swap. I might have just removed the inner bolts of the control arms and as well as the shocks. I know for sure that I didn't use a ball joint remover. For removing ball joints on my cars, I have always used a rubber mallet and some nice pounding (like on the control arm).

Actually I just did it this past weekend and read to wait 2 weeks before I do an allignment. The car has 125k miles on it.

Can it be as simple as an allignment?

Yea wouldnt that be easier instead of swapping them or do they go in only a certain way?

eCrS2k, how long was it until you got the shakes again? how much are you dropped?

By the way, i dont really feel it to much if you accelerate on the proper gear. Example, if im giong 30 and im on 2nd gear and punch it, dont feel it to much.

If im giong 40 on 6th gear and punch it, the car shakes.

I have till sunday to ensure this is what im giong to need to do. Anyone know an estimate on the time it should take. Also to confirm the proper way to switch tem by taking out the least amount of stuff. The diy advises to take everything off.

I asked Honda dealer to swap my cv joint last friday and no more acceleration jitter!! Thanks for the tip!

By the way, honda dealer told me it would'nt help doing the swap.... I told them "do it!"
