Default Inline temp gauge adapter and H&R coil overs.

Quick 2 questions:

1.My temp gauge needs a adapter and I am not sure with one to get, please check the following 2 links please (will any brand's reader /sensor/ fit inside?) since I am not sure about the hose. I want to use the "main" one going into the radiator. I like to have my car nice and clean and I am not willing to save a few bucks and use part that are normaly used in kitchens or bathrooms. Here are the 2 parts:

a)http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Pro...asp?RecId=2936
b)http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/Pro...asp?RecId=2937

2.My H&R coil overs are tooooo soft for the track or auto-x and I spoke to the R&D department of H&R in Germany and they can re-assemble the coil overs to a stiffer spec, since they do NOT have harder springs yet. My car is a track car only, I prefer stiffer suspension setting, BUT WHAT EXACTLY SHOULD I ASK FOR???

Please take your time and post something useful. No please

Damn, wish I could help you but I lack experience in that area for the S2000. I'm going to have a used set of Tein RS dampers on my car soon enough and I've found mixed reviews about them. Some say that it's nice while others argue that nobody's won on those before, perhaps nobody has tried.

Since your in Dubai, can you get your hands on a good set of JRZ suspension/coilovers? I've heard that Bilstein also has a complete coilover suspension kit for our cars, however I've never seen either of them. JRZ's have been track tested by a few here and they seem to work incredibly well. I guess the hard part is finding the right combination of damping, piston stroke, spring rates and the like that works on the track, not a generic all-purpose type like some I've seen/used in the past.

Here, to make it easier for viewers to go to those links:

You can certainly use that type of adapter (although I'm not sure if they will have the exact same thread as your gauge sender), there are limitations to them. Being installed in the rad hose, you will not get an accurate read on the coolant temp as it's rising. Remember, there is little water flow in the rad hoses until the thermostat trips. It will look like the coolant temp is taking forever to come up and then suddenly, once the stat opens, it'll climb like crazy.
In this thread and in your PMs to me, you have never stated what exact type or brand of gauge you have. Sending units on differenct gauges could be different sizes. Without knowing the size, your search will be very ambiguous.

It looks like they will be carrying Defi gauges. These are very nice but very expensive. There are forum venders who carry gauges. It might be better to enquire with some of them.

As to what I have and what you need, here is a thread I did on the installation of my gauges. This will show you all the components that you will need to do this.

Here are the gauges mounted in the SOS pod:
