Are injectors swappable between all model years?
In my final attempt to fix my minor misfiring at idle (that still has NOT given me a CEL) I would like to test a different set of injectors after many peoples suggestions. My question is will injectors from a 2006 or newer work fine in a my 2002? When I checked with honda they came up as a different model number and I wanted to see if anyone knows of their differences? Any known advantages or disadvantages to this?
I really have to fix this misfire as minor as it is...it irritates me, I just wish I had a cel for guidance!!

That was my assumption as well...thank you for verifying that for me! I might have to just fork over the 400$ for a new set but it is kind of hard when I don't know if injectors are even the cause of the problem!

The 06 and later injectors are slightly different length, and different connectors from the earlier 00-05 cars.
DBW and a return less fuel system were introduced in 06. It was a pretty in depth model change, the basics are there, but the details are not.

Are they a different style of injector, Chris?
I'm considering getting a new set of Keihin (Honda OEM) in 440cc if I put a basic supercharger on my '04 because they are a straight drop-in for the S2000 OEM injectors (also Keihin).

I'll have to look if Keihin is still the supplier.
Big injectors don't work well with a stock PCM unless some type off piggyback engine management is used. The stock PCM can not compensate for the additional fuel without setting multiple DTC's.
You want big injectors with a stock PCM you'll need a E-manage or AEM FIC
