Default Injector cleaners!

Hi peoples I was wondering since I am new to the s2k platform, Is it ok to use fuel injector cleaning solvents in our vehicles (Ie: chevron w/techron fuel injector cleaner)? Any answers will be appreciated thanks!

Yeah, but all it is is some diluted diesel fuel. If you use quality fuels, the injectors shouldn't need cleaning.

If you are driving a car that was owned by someone else previously, I'd suggest running a bottle of Redline S1 fuel treatment. It is reported to be one of the better products out there, that is effective with one treatment. Run a treatment about once a year after that.

I'm also running Lucas upper cylinder lubricant on a regular basis, two ounce dose per gas tank goes a long way for relatively low cost and has some benefits that typical gas treatments don't provide.

Amsoil P.I. is very good. I put a bottle in the fuel tank about every 5000 miles.

I personally use the Chevron Techron cleaner since its widely available, but the Redline stuff is very good too.
