i'm curious with out force induction but maybe with individual throttle bodies... how much HP can the S2k engine push out with out force induction?

Nicely done, editing your post and topic after I've moved it.
There are very few ITB actually running properly on S2000s out there. Contact TurboPWR (from the east coast). He has much experience in this.

it will be nice to see someone combine FI with individual throttle bodies
it would be interesting to see the difference in midrange torque and drivability
tuning will be slightly difficult but still doable

ITB's are no match for a bolt on S/C.
Toda built motor/ITB's.
S2k weight at 2000 pounds
We are looking at 300-310 hp to the wheels
VS
OEM Honda Comptech SC
S2k weight 2815 pounds
We are looking at 290-325 hp to the wheels.
IMO on an open track the NA car would beat the crap out of the SC car. Same horsepower and the NA car is about 800 pounds lighter? How can you say thats no match? It is no match for the NA/ITB car. Of course thats if its properly tuned.
I am also assuming driving conditions, tires, driver are all on the same/equal level.

I said bolt on S/C. You said full lightened race car with ITB's and a toda motor. Where the hell did that come from?
We have two guys with ITB's here. Both of them will get creamed by an S/C'd car.
I'm sure the original poster is not about to reduce his car to 2000 pounds, and spend the $$$$$ for a toda motor.
I never said it was no match against a totally built car, so don't put words in my mouth.

What if the S/Cd car was "built", like Sideway's car (pushing 440 WHP) AND weighed 2000 lbs? That would be the proper comparison. Would it still beat the crap out of the S/C'd car? I doubt it.
Remember, the original comparison was a "bolt on" ITB to a "bolt on" S/C. You'd be damned lucky if you can even get a "bolt on" ITB car to idle. Nothing was said about giving any weight advantage to the ITB car. If you're going to boast and run off at the mouth, at least be fair in your comparison.
BTW, you can't get a stock S2000 down to 2000 lbs. It's been tried and it's been stripped to the bone and still did not reach 2000 lbs. Or would you like to be even more "unbalanced" in your comparison and go with a fiberglass car?
Haha, just saw your post, Billman. Go get 'em, Tiger.
