indirect handbrake
How can I make my handbrake more direct? It is impossible to lock the wheels on the straight and I hear other Hondas also have the same problem. Is there any solution to this problem? -Tnx for answers everybody.

What do you mean by direct? If you mean make it more stiff, then take off the console covering the handbrake and there will be something that looks like a screw near the bottom of the brake. Just tighten that up and it will put my tension on the cable.
If 'direct' didnt mean tighten then just slap me silly cause i wrote all of that for nothing

I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about, but many cars have rear drum brakes, making their hand brake much more effective. If you double the force on a disc brake, you double the braking power. If you double the braking force on a drum brake, you quadruple (4X) the braking power. That makes them easy to lock up. Adjusting the hand brake will help, but it won't come close to having a drum brake.
Some cars with rear disc brakes have a mini drum brake in the rear just for the hand brake. That gives you the best of both systems, but it weighs and costs more.
Am I correct in assuming that you're trying to drag race, and want to drop the brake to launch? You picked the wrong car for this.
