Inaccurate speedo

I would be more worried about the extra milage being added to my odometer than the speed added to my speedometer.

As far as radar-I've only tested at higher speeds. I did a 64mph pass and was clocked at 60. I did passes in the 70s and 80s and radars were consistant in showing a +4mph variance on my speedo. I also can't account for how accurate/recent calibration of those radars (on the side of the road and in the police cars)
What is the best way for me to check my speed? GPS? Or should I stop messin' around and just take it to Honda (which I really do NOT want to do)
Now I can't overlook it-I don't want this thing to be adding inaccurate miles to odo.

Again, there is no way AP2 wheels/tires are throwing off his speedo at under triple digit speeds by 4mph. Something else is the matter.
This is why initially the thought of buying a yellow box was overkill for me. The overall diameter wheel/tire ratios should have been the same in transitioning from AP1 to AP2 wheels.

I think it's strange that the mph difference is constant as opposed to linear in relation to speed. If the extra milage is what's buggin you, a constant difference is worse than a linear difference.
If the 4mph is constant, as you say, then if you drive 23,000 miles at a steady 60mph, your odometer is now reading an extra 1,438 miles. However, if you mostly drive in the city, where your average speed is lower, say 20mph, then after 23,000 miles, your odo is now 3,833 miles too high!!!
Have you ever tried checking your odometer against the mile markers on a long highway? I don't know how accurate the mile markers are, but it might be an interesting experiment (or not).
I propose a test. Give me your car for a weekend. I'll drive to my parents house near Pittsburgh (250 miles). I'll check your speedometer against my GPS. I'll also check your odometer against the mile markers along route 70 and against my GPS. What do you say?
