yeah i got the same stinking problem. i just measure by how many miles i get on the tank, and how much i be vtec'ing it.

not sure bout which years did what.. but i have an 06 and the gauge learns how you drive and changes the way it shows how much gas you have.. example .. i drive 24 miles one way with 10 stops max.. i do this for one week and it goes to almost no bars soon than i expected.. and light comes on. . but on weekends i drive with like 5 bars and around the city .. i do alot of stop and go driving.. with almost no gas left i was able to drive around for 50+ miles.. i guess it trys to guess how you drive and adjust to that to tell you to get gas sooner or later

Too bad the S2K doesn't have a fuel filter. It has a permanent fuel sock at the fuel pump in the gas tank.

if you have one, honda fuel filters are life time until you do have a problem

Simular with my '06. It seems to have about 50 miles left in the tank when the light comes on.
