Skimming thru the Import Tuner mag i noticed they posted dynos on the AEM V2, DC Sports header and an exhaust ive never heard of Gram Light exhaust. While this post is not a technical question, i suppose it has some value of technical info as I do not recall anyone dyno'ing the V2 intake, plus i suppose it never hurts to get extra dyno's in the bunch. http://importtuner.com/tech/0405it_honda/ Hope some of you find this resource helpful. Ps. I like the comment of the V2 intake sounding like "an angry elephant making a death charge at you"

Gram Lights exhaust is made by RAYS/VOLK/MACKIN INDUSTRIES. Very nice look with the curved outlet, in my opinion.

$1700 for nine peak horsepower.

Yup...that sounds about right.

- thought the DC HEADER LOST HP?
- DC SPORTS HEADER:

DYNO 3: DC Sports ceramic-coated header
Air temp @ 72 Degrees Fahrenheit
Temperature difference from previous run: +0 degree Fahrenheit

Peak HP. 206.3 (gained ~3hp WITH intake)
Peak TQ. 120.2

2000 to 3500 HP range: 1 - 3
2000 to 3500 TQ range: 1 - 2

3500 to 5500 HP range: 1 - 3
3500 to 5500 TQ range: 2 - 3

5500 to redline HP range: 2 - 3
5500 to redline TQ range: 1 - 2

Pros: The DC Sports header also made improvements in the midrange department where the engine lacks most. We witnessed gains as high as 3 horsepower at certain points. We also noticed a slightly higher exhaust pitch from the factory canister due to the quicker exhaust flow.

Yea i noticed those notes as well, I also noted that it did lose 1ft lb of torque tho. So I dont know if +3hp -1ftlb tq is going to be a good thing or not. IMO our cars lack in the torque department.

Unfortunately, all it takes is one dyno from somebody on an item
and within a week or so, it becomes a "truth." This is why I rarely
make a purchasing decision based on one or two dynos. Way too many
variables involved. I've always felt the DC Header was good for
2-3hp but simply wasn't worth the expense ($300-400) for a gain
that small. Better to use the $400 towards gears.
Unlike the Toda Header, which routinely has shown gains of 10hp in the
mid-range, I've really only seen one or two negative DC Sports dynos while
seeing more than a fair share which show the gains to be similar to what
Import Tuner noted. Doesn't really matter though since a used Toda which costs 2.5x as much as a new
DC Sports header is worth 5x as much if you're going the header route.
