Default Impact Wrenches

With regard to cordless Impact Wrenches, Why does Voltage matter?

Does it relate to the speed, the power, etc?

Thanks.

More voltage can be used for either more speed or more torque. In an impact wrench, torque is king so that's why the higher voltage models are preferred.

ROTFLMAO!

That's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Ironically, I just got a Milwaukee (18Volt, 1/2 drive) at my friends recommendation. I am having trouble understanding why other impact wrenches with lower voltage that still claim over 100 ft-lbs of torque is not sufficient. Some people complain they cannot even brake the lugs loose. This wrench seems like serious overkill.

I've had one for a while. "Serious overkill" is good in a tool like this. It works great, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
