im only getting 40 miles on a quarter tank....

Lower grade gas does not cause a CEL, the computer will adjust for it and you will lose power while running that gas so that the engine maintains its safety margins

If you only needed 2.7 gallons to fill up the tank, why did you have "no choice but to add 89"? Sounds like you had plenty of fuel still in the tank? Anyway, always put in 91 octane or higher.

Like everyone else post...fill up your tank and then calculate. I get on average 295-310 to a tank. My worst week ever, 200 to a tank. I was literraly in vtec all day lol
