Ignition Problems
Has anyone had this problem yet? When i turn off the car, remove the key and go to get out, the beeps start as if the key is still in the ignition. I have to put the key back in and turn it to the run position and then back again to get it to stop. This happens 3-4 times a week. This is my only car so i drive it daily. I took it the dealer for an oil change and asked them to check out the ignition problem, but of course, it wouldn't do it for them. I was told to bring it back when it become a more permanent problem. does anybody have any ideas or has anyone experienced the same problem? i'm a little perplexed.

Next time it happens just "tap" the key on the key hole and watch it stop. I have had this happen a few times and realized that I was in a hurry, not turned the key off all the way (to the car's liking) and removed the key quickly. The car thinks the key is still in the ignition when the door is open.
I just slowed down and it does not happen any more.
I have had this happen on other cars too.
