My shortblock is damaged
(long story in "the shortblock thread" http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...51&pagenumber=8)

I am in a process of rebuilding my engine. I want to make this last a long time so I don't mind investing a little bit of extra $$$ and get this done properly. I will be resleeving the shortblock. Ultimately I want to run 14psi with my vortech setup. I have thought about turbo but there are too many room for error and it also means that I will have to resale my existing vortech.

Engine rebuilding is very new to me. If you have any experience with engine rebuilt, forge pistons and rods, could you please help. Which one is the best
1. material for resleeving
2. forge pistons
3. forge rods

Sorry I've got no answers for you, but I'm really interested in what gets said here so if you do find some answers other than this thread, be sure to post em'

I've heard H beam rod's are the best design to go with, but I'm not an expert engine builder so I'm not 100%

I dropped him a pm a while back.

I am looking at either Ross or JE pistons and Argo or Pauter rods at this stage.
